Seats for admission to MBBS and BDS (subject to allotment by "Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India") are available through KSB for widows and wards of categories of Defence personnel 





. Eligibility Criteria:-


(a) Scheme is open to Indian Nationals only.

(b) Only wards/widows/wives of Defence Personnel from Army, Navy&Air Force from Priority-I to Priority-IX are eligible for the scheme.

(c) Selection of candidates for Central seats reserved for Govt of India Nominee will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the student in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by CBSE. Candidates who do not qualify the NEET should not apply.

(d) Wards of civilians/civilians working in AFHQ/MoD, DRDO, wards of personnel from Para Military/CAPF are not eligible.

(e) This facility is admissible for only one member of the family once in lifetime.

(f) Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December of the academic session in which the admission is sought for.

(g) Son of Servicemen/ Ex-servicemen who are more than 25 years of age are not eligible. Daughters if married and are not dependent, should not apply.




Instructions:-  


The following instructions are given for information and guidance of the eligible applicants:-

(a) Applications by eligible candidate will be submitted online on KSB website i.e.www.ksb.gov.inalong with supporting documents as given in para 4 below. The last date of submitting online application will be twenty days from the date of announcement of NEET result. No offline application will be entertained. Serving Personnel will submit application online along with scanned copies of documents duly authenticated by OIC Records as per para 4.

(b) A wrong or misleading entry will lead to rejection of the application. 

(i) Selected candidates will be informed directly by the Kendriya Sainik Board, Ministry of Defence, West Block-IV, Wing No. 7, RK Puram, New Delhi110066 through email and telephonically about the date of counselling.

(ii) Selected candidates who want to appear/not appear in counselling should send his/her willingness/ unwillingness telephonically as well as by the Fax No. 011-26192362, e-mail ID:-jd.cksb-mod@gov.in and by post also within specified date given by KSB Sectt. Format of Willingness/Unwillingness certificate is attached as Appendices ‘A’& ‘B’.

(iii) Candidature of those selected candidates who fail to appear for the counselling on specified date will be cancelled and his / her seat will be passed to the next candidate in merit*.





. CHECK LIST FOR DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM.

The following documents are to be uploaded with the application form:-

(a) Self attested photocopy of the marks-sheet of Matriculation examination.

(b) Self attested photocopy of the marks-sheet of 10+2 or equivalent examination.

(c) Self attested copy of Result/Merit of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). 

(d) Eligibility certificate will be duly signed by ZSB and countersigned by Director RSBs. For serving personnel in priority V, VII, VIII & IX eligibility certificate to be signed only by CO/OC Unit orOIC Records. 

(e) Self attested photocopies of Education Entitlement Card, latest Pension Payment Order, Special/Liberalized family pension, Battle Casualty Certificate, Casualty Indicating Disability or documentary proof of Gallantry Award(copy of Gazette Notification and Part II Order), as applicable. 

(f) Passport size photograph.

 CEA CLAIM PROCEDURE FOR DEFENCE VETERANS Children's Education Allowance (CEA) is a component of the reimbursement of educational expenses for the children of government employees, including defense veterans. It is designed to support the education of the children of retired defense personnel. This scheme to provide financial assistance to ESM and their widows for helping them in educating their wards was started in 1981 with an amount of Rs 15/- per child per month for a maximum of three children up to Class XII. This scheme was last revised in Oct 2011 into a monthly grant of Rs 1000/- per month per child (for maximum two children*) up to graduation and also for widows to pursue Post Graduation degree. This grant is not applicable for any of the professional or technical courses/degrees Aim of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to up to a maximum of two dependent children of those ESM or their widows, up to the ranks of Havildar in the Army and equivalent in the Navy
