Army Institute Of Management & Technology (AIMT) is a premium MBA Institute in Greater Noida (NCR) near Delhi. Established by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) in 2004 in the hi-tech city of Greater Noida. 

AWES has so far established 130 Army Schools and 12 professional colleges. Designed to capture the increasing needs of industry for Management and Computer Application professionals for the benefit of the wards of Army personnel, a sprawling new campus of the Institute was constructed over an area of 15.34 acres 41kms from Delhi.

AIMT, Greater Noida has been established to conduct MBA,MBA(Analytics) and BBA program in a fully residential campus. The first batch of students joined the institute in Aug 2004. The institute is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIP), Delhi. The campus can accommodate nearly 500 students at its peak capacity. The institute is set to become one of the premiere professional colleges of the country. The college has witnessed 85% placements with average package of 4.5 lacs.

Equipped with all modern learning tools/facilities,the fraternity aims to provide top class management and education to the students. The college has tiered seating with AC lecture halls for better visibility. Also the campus encloses a residential complex to house all its teaching and non teaching staff.

LOCATION 

The Institute is located in Greater Noida, which is a part of the National Capital Region(NCR). The city has a well-planned layout with wide roads and green belts and has a large number of educational institutions and industries. The campus is located in Plot No M-1, Pocket P-5 in the immediate vicinity of the AWHO project of Greater Noida. The city is well connected to Noida and Delhi by public transport.

Following are the different kinds of Awards and Scholarship Schemes being institutionalized at AIMT, Greater Noida:

1. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) All Round Best Student Rolling Trophy- One award per batch based on overall performance during complete duration of the course is given to the selected student of the passing out batch at the time of convocation/ Alumni Meet every year. The award consist of the following:- (i) Monetary Award – Rs 25,000/- (ii) Rolling Trophy (iii) Merit Certificate
2. Awards of Academic Excellence. Three awards for students securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in Academics. The awards consist of the following:-
a. 1st Position- Comprising of Monetary Reward Rs 20,000/-, Gold Medal and Merit Certificate
b. 2nd Position- Comprising of Monetary Reward Rs 15,000/-, Silver Medal and Merit Certificate
c. 3rd Position- Comprising of Monetary Reward of Rs 10,000/- , Bronze Medal and Merit Certificate

3. TATA Memorial Scholarship – Given to best two students in academics in first year amounting to Rs 20000/- & Rs 15000/- respectively.
4. AGIF Scholarship – Extended to 24% of total strength amounting to Rs 40000/- per year on the basis of previous academic performance.

6. Financial Assistance to the Students under Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Scheme- The scheme is open to all the students of the University who fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down in the Website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
