भारत में पुनर्वास महानिदेशालय (डीजीआर) सेवानिवृत्त और सेवानिवृत्त सशस्त्र बल कर्मियों को नागरिक जीवन में उनके संक्रमण में सहायता के लिए विभिन्न पुनर्वास पाठ्यक्रम प्रदान करता है। इन पाठ्यक्रमों का उद्देश्य उन्हें ऐसे कौशल और प्रशिक्षण से लैस करना है जो नागरिक नौकरी बाजार में मूल्यवान हैं
ये पाठ्यक्रम आम तौर पर भारत भर में विभिन्न प्रतिष्ठित संस्थानों, विश्वविद्यालयों और संगठनों के सहयोग से संचालित किए जाते हैं।
कुल मिलाकर, डीजीआर पुनर्वास पाठ्यक्रम सेवानिवृत्त या सेवानिवृत्त सैनिकों के लिए एक सेतु के रूप में काम कर सकते हैं जो नागरिक करियर में अपने कौशल, अनुभव और सुरक्षा के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता का लाभ उठाना चाहते हैं।
· प्रशिक्षण निदेशालय: डीजीआर को सेवानिवृत्त होने वाले सैन्य कर्मियों, पूर्व सैनिकों और मृत कर्मियों की विधवाओं/आश्रयों को उनकी योग्यता बढ़ाने और उन्हें दूसरे कैरियर की तलाश में सक्षम बनाने के लिए तैयार करने की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। नागरिक जीवन में उनके पुनर्वास के लिए प्रशिक्षण डीजीआर के प्रमुख कार्यों में से एक है। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम सरकारी, अर्ध-सरकारी के माध्यम से संचालित किये जाते हैं। और देश के विभिन्न स्थानों पर प्रतिष्ठित निजी संस्थान। पुनर्वास प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में विषयों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला को शामिल किया गया है, जिसमें विकास के मद्देनजर आवश्यक कौशल सेटों पर स्पष्ट जोर दिया गया है, वार्षिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम को तत्काल संदर्भ के लिए डीजीआर वेब साइट पर पोस्ट किया गया है। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम तीन श्रेणियों के तहत आयोजित किए जाते हैं: -
o अधिकारियों का प्रशिक्षण: सेवा के अंतिम दो वर्षों में सेवारत अधिकारियों के लिए और सेवानिवृत्त/मुक्त किए गए अधिकारियों के लिए रिहाई से तीन साल के भीतर या 60 वर्ष तक, जो भी पहले हो। प्रशिक्षण आईआईएम, एमडीआई, आईआईएफटी इत्यादि जैसे प्रीमियम प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों के साथ एमओयू के तहत आयोजित किया जाता है। पुनर्वास प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करने वाले सेवारत अधिकारियों को अधिकतम छह महीने की अवधि तक ड्यूटी पर माना जाता है, लेकिन उन्हें कोई यात्रा, दैनिक भत्ता नहीं दिया जाता है। और रेलवे वारंट पर यात्रा करने के हकदार नहीं हैं। अधिकारी पाठ्यक्रम शुल्क का 40% भुगतान करते हैं और 60% शुल्क सरकार द्वारा भुगतान किया जाता है।
o जेसीओ/ओआर प्रशिक्षण: सेवा के पिछले दो वर्षों में आईएन/आईएएफ में जेसीओ/ओआर और उनके समकक्ष सेवा के लिए। प्रशिक्षण के दौरान उन्हें अस्थायी ड्यूटी पर माना जाता है और वे अपना वेतन और भत्ते प्राप्त करने के हकदार होते हैं। 100% पाठ्यक्रम शुल्क का भुगतान सरकार द्वारा किया जाता है।

Training Directorate: DGR is entrusted
with the responsibility of preparing retiring service personnel, ex-servicemen
and widows / wards of deceased personnel to enhance their qualifications and
enable them to seek second career. Training for their resettlement in civil
life is one of the major functions of DGR. The training programs are conducted through Government,
semi-Govt. and private institutions of repute at various places in the country.
Resettlement training programme covers a wide range of subjects with a clear
emphasis on the skill sets required in view of the evolving the Annual Training
Programme is posted on the DGR web site for ready reference The training
programmes are organized under three categories:-
o Officers’ Training: For serving officers
in the last two years of service and for retired/released officers’ within
three years from release or up to 60 years, whichever is earlier. The training
is organized under MOU with the premium training institutes like IIM,MDI,IIFT,
etc. The serving officers, undergoing resettlement training, are treated on
duty up to a maximum period of six months but they are not paid any traveling,
daily allowance and are not entitled to travel on railway warrant. The officers pay 40% of the
course fee and 60% fee is paid by Govt.
o
JCOs/OR
Training: For serving JCOs/OR and their equivalent in IN/IAF
in the last two years of service. During training they are considered as on
temporary duty and are entitled to draw their pay and allowances. 100% course fee is paid by the
Govt.

business management, project management, and strategic management, preparing
individuals for leadership roles in various industries.

Technical Courses: Specialized technical courses are available in fields such as
information technology, telecommunications, engineering, and aviation.
3.
Entrepreneurship Development Program: Courses designed to
nurture entrepreneurial skills and help individuals start their own businesses.
4.
Safety and Security Courses: Training in safety management, fire
safety, industrial safety, and security management.
5.
Personality Development and Communication Skills: Programs focused on
enhancing communication skills, leadership abilities, and overall personality
development.
6.
Healthcare and Paramedical Courses: Courses for
healthcare-related professions like nursing, medical laboratory technology, and
healthcare management.
7.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Training in logistics,
inventory management, and supply chain management.
8.
Financial Planning and Wealth Management: Courses providing
knowledge in financial planning, investment, and wealth management.
